5/10 K Walk or Run for Sight On July 26, 2008 the South Dakota Lions Eye Bank held its first 5k/10k walk/run for sight hosted by the Hill City Lions Club. The fundraiser took place on the Mickelson Trail in Hill City, South Dakota. The day of fun and fitness included over 25 walkers/runners of all ages. We were able to bring in just over $2,000 and netted just over $1,000. For a first year fundraiser we are ecstatic to bring in a profit, and look forward to future years of success. Participants in the 1st Annual 5/10K Walk or Run for Sight	The Hill City Lions Club has been gracious enough to host a walk/run/ride in the spring of 2009. Our hope is that surrounding clubs will host a walk/run/ride and we will fill the 109 miles of the Mickelson Trail with walkers, runners, and riders for sight!
